Premium Positioning RTK Portal LiveMap Guide

  1. Go to the URL: www.rtkpremium.com

  2. Enter the customer username and password combination provided.

  3. Forgot your Login Credentials? Please use Forgot Password? - Alternatively reach out to: [email protected]




  1. Head to ‘to service’ for the RTK LiveMap option.



The LiveMap function for RTK Premium will now open from here you will be able to access the live position and status of each account. Next we will discuss some useful information on how to navigate the application. For more information regarding the use of the LiveMap please don’t hesitate to contact [email protected]




The Premium Positioning RTK LiveMap:



Status: An overview of the RTK connections of devices and reference stations.


Map: Overview of the devices and reference station locations.


Reference Stations: List with an  overview of the reference stations.


Rovers: List with an overview of the devices.


Reference Station History: Possibility to filter the status of the reference stations through a set period of time.


Rover History: Possibility to filter the status of the devices through a set period of time.






  • The above pane can be utilised to filter the devices and reference stations by their statuses by clicking on the box. Once coloured it is applied, if the box is grey - it is not applied and hidden.



Next, we will look at how to find out a device’s current and historical data. 

Rover History Menu:


Following on from the menu placed in RED above. (Page 2)


Selecting the Rover History menu on the left hand pane in the RTK LiveMap portal. A pop-up window Rover & time will open:


  • Rover & Time:          




  1. Enter the name of the device you are trying to locate. Click the name of the list from the dropdown menu


  1. Select a date & time within a 3 day maximum to return the results click ‘OK’




  • Map View:     



The map view is a useful tool to use visual aids to view the

geographic location of the connection history. Again with the

ability to filter from RTK Fixed, RTK Float, DGPS Mode & 

Not Fixed.









  • Table View:      


In this view the user can view in more detail the historic data of the account in

the set time frame applied.



The table view displays useful information as shown in table below:


True Distance (km)

Distance to Reference Station 

Status

Status of the RTK stream 

#SVs

Amount of Satellites used for connection

Latitude & Longitude 

WGS84 Position 

Height 

Ellipsoidal Height

NET GNSS

The amount per constellation of satellites

Session Login Times

Start - Finish times of the stream

GLONASS Bias Class and Source

GLONASS bias class brand and source info.

PGPPUID

GPP Message ID inc. PORT number

  • Error Codes:


Here are a list of some of the more commonly found error codes you may come across on the RTK Portal:



1: GPS SPS Mode 

Device may be connected to the RTK stream but no corrections. For example: No or too few Satellites - device may be obstructed from sky view - under trees, for example.

2: Differential GPS 

The device is using some correction service other than RTK (SBAS for example)

251: Still logged in, PGPPUID known, but no position yet

No GNSS position in the NMEA string

255: No longer connected

NTRIP / TCP connection (internet) is no longer connected 

5. RTK Float

Device is connected to the RTK network and receiving corrections but cannot accurately compute the position due to an incomplete calculation 

4: RTK Fixed with Ambiguities

Device is connected to RTK Network and receives a full RTK correction resulting in a FIXED position.
